The Spring Branch Stingrays are a summer league community swim team. Our season is 10 - 12 weeks long from April - June each year.
Our team is geared to local families with children between the ages of 4 and 18 from neighborhoods in the Spring Branch community. We have approximately 100+ swimmers on our team each year.
We swim at the beautiful Shadow Oaks Recreation Association (SORA) Pool located at 10502 Westview, Houston, TX, 77043. Swim team members must have a pool membership and be members in good standing of the SORA pool.
Our goals are to teach kids how to become better swimmers, cultivate sportsmanship, hard work, and to create a fun and competitive environment for all. The team is not intended to be swimming lessons. Swim team swimmers are asked to have obtained the basic swimming skills before joining the team.
Stingrays compete in the Memorial Spring Branch Swim Conference which includes 13 swim teams from the Memorial/Spring Branch area.
